CallIt ("we," "us," or "our") operates callit.bar — a prediction marketing platform for bars and restaurants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our services, whether as a merchant or as a customer participating in a prediction promotion.

From customers (end users who participate in predictions):

• Phone number or email address — provided voluntarily to receive results and claim vouchers
• Prediction choice (e.g., which team you picked)
• Participation timestamp and event details
• Voucher redemption status

From merchants:

• Business name, email, and contact information
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
• Wallet address for USDC prediction pool (provided by you)
• Event and prediction activity data

Automatically:

• IP address and approximate location
• Browser type and device information
• Pages visited and time spent (via server logs)

• To operate the prediction promotion and determine results
• To notify winners and facilitate voucher redemption
• To process merchant payments and manage accounts
• To comply with sweepstakes legal requirements
• To prevent fraud and abuse
• To improve our services
• To communicate service updates (merchants only, with opt-out)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your contact information for marketing unrelated to the specific prediction event you entered.

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• With the merchant: We share your masked contact (e.g., ***-**-7890) and voucher amount so staff can verify your identity during redemption. Your full contact is not shared unless you present it directly.
• With Polymarket: Prediction bets are placed on Polymarket's platform. Bet amounts and outcomes are recorded on the public Polygon blockchain. This data is pseudonymous and tied to our platform wallet, not your identity.
• With Stripe: Payment processing for merchant accounts. Stripe handles all card data under their own privacy policy.
• Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

Customer participation data (contact, prediction choice, result) is retained for 12 months after the event concludes, then deleted or anonymized. Merchants may request earlier deletion of customer data via email.

Merchant account data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 3 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Opt out of non-essential communications

To exercise these rights, email hello@callit.bar with the subject line "Data Request." We will respond within 30 days.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, and secure third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Prediction bets placed on Polymarket are recorded on the public Polygon blockchain. Blockchain records are permanent and cannot be deleted. These records are tied to our platform wallet addresses, not to individual users' personal information. This data is publicly visible to anyone.

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
